Welcome to QRCodePro. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QRCodePro ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and QRCodePro. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

QRCodePro provides a platform for creating, managing, and tracking dynamic QR codes. The Service includes:

  • QR code generation with customization options
  • URL shortening and redirect services
  • Scan analytics and reporting
  • API access (for eligible plans)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Account Registration

Account Creation

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update your information if it changes
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and API keys. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Prohibited Content

  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Create phishing pages or fraudulent content
  • Host illegal content (child exploitation, terrorism, etc.)
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Distribute spam or unsolicited communications
  • Harass, threaten, or defame others

Prohibited Activities

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer or decompile our software
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws
  • Generate excessive load or abuse rate limits

URL Destination Requirements

QR code destinations must comply with our policies. We actively scan and block redirects to:

  • Known malware and phishing domains
  • Sites on major blocklists
  • Content that violates these Terms

We reserve the right to disable any QR code that violates these policies without notice.

5. Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by QRCodePro and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service (logos, images, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a license to use it solely to provide the Service to you.

Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without obligation to you.

6. Payment Terms

Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled before the renewal date.

Pricing Changes

We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing period.

Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on initial Pro plan purchases. Contact us within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund. After 30 days, refunds are at our discretion.

Downgrades

If you downgrade your plan, changes take effect at the end of your current billing period. QR codes exceeding your new plan's limits will become view-only (still functional, but not editable).

7. Service Availability

Free Plans

Free plans are provided "as is" without any service level guarantees. We may modify or discontinue free features at any time.

Paid Plans

We strive for 99.9% uptime for paid plans. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

Enterprise SLA

Enterprise customers receive a formal Service Level Agreement with uptime guarantees and support response times.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
  • WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QRCodePro and its employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Content you create or upload
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Termination

By You

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your QR codes will stop redirecting after a 30-day grace period.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Fail to pay fees when due
  • Are subject to legal requirements that prevent us from providing service

We will provide notice before termination when reasonably possible, except in cases of serious violations.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period, unless required by law to retain it.

12. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved through binding arbitration, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and QRCodePro.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
