Do my QR codes expire if I downgrade?
Never. Your QR codes keep working forever — every scan still redirects to the right destination. On the free plan, editing is paused and analytics are limited, but nothing breaks. We believe QR codes printed on physical materials should never stop working.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep full access until then. There is a 30-day grace period after downgrade where you can still edit your QR codes.
Do scans count against a limit?
No. All plans include unlimited scans. Your QR codes should work as hard as you do, without artificial restrictions.
How does annual billing work?
Annual plans save you 17% — that is 2 months free. You pay once per year and get all the same features as the monthly plan. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time.
Is the API really free?
Yes. Every plan includes API access. Free tier gets 100 API-created QR codes with 10 requests/minute. Paid plans get higher limits. We want developers to build on SeriousQR without any barriers.
What is the watermark?
Free tier QR codes include a small "SeriousQR" watermark in the corner and hosted pages show a "Powered by SeriousQR" footer. Both are removed on all paid plans.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or education?
Yes. We offer 50% off paid plans for verified nonprofits and educational institutions. Contact us with proof of status to get set up.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe. Enterprise customers can also pay via invoice.
